Moving tabular information from Word to FrontPage

Pasting tabular information from Word into FrontPage can be a problem because HTML doesn't recognize tabs. One is left with the prospect of creating a table in FrontPage and pasting each item individually.

There is an easy way, however, to handle this. Select the tabbed text in Word, then choose Table | Convert | Text To Table. Accept Word's recommendation for the number of columns and make sure the Tabs radio button is selected in the Separate Text At section.

Click OK, and your tabbed data is now in a table. You can edit the table to remove any extra columns and get rid of borders. Then you can paste into FrontPage with the table intact and the same appearance as the tabbed data in Word. Finally, you can join me in the campaign to eliminate the use of tabs everywhere!
